History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Laucian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qualen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Qualen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Qualen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
