Upon awakening, Oppleby discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Oppleby fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Claira was born the youngest of three triplets. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
