History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Valida learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: An older woman who prefers to wear flannel, she is not a threatening figure. Her gray fur is braided into rings. Her hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Beggar. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Cloud took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up nunchaku and armor she uses now. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Beggar for the past few years.
