Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Mary wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Mary was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
