Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 45. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Mara hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Therlin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
