History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelaide grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelaide. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Mella is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Mella took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
