History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are silver.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Gifted from a young age, Valafar studied abroad. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Fisher job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His red hair is singed and shortened. He has a dull look in his silver eyes.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Balam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is greedy
