Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Simon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Simon liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ethereal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
