History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. Through the years after Raer was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Raer's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the north to a Gardener, Lia learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Weaver, but she was a colossal failure. Recently the stress of being a Gardener has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
