History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Mordai liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Mordai never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is a Mercenary first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born in the south. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
