History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Mindartis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

His dark red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His eyes are a pleasant gold.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Balam was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Priest. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
