Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.
