History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Fisher profession.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Purban does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He struck the Sage job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he feels kind of lost in life

Her eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
