Description: The dark-skinned man stands 3'3" and usually wears his tan robe and has his longsword always slung over his shoulder. He has wavy silver hair. His eyes are a pleasant violet.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This man is very fat, and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are silver and catlike.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ekemon grew up listening to his father's many stories. Ekemon abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: This northern man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His clothes are grease stained in places. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Fargrim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Fargrim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has moderate length red hair. Her eyes are amber.
Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardnab fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
