Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
