He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Griselda was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against orcs.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her fur is cinnamon, silky, and of moderate length. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.
