History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Vani alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Tarak was born with his mother's beautiful face. Tarak liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Purban hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born in the north. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
