History: Spring was born with his father's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Spring and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Bellfounder, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
