History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Shivering was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Vicky isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Vicky was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Pelt was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents enrolled him in a Cleric school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
