Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Description: A 5'2" eastern woman, she wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her long white hair reaches down to her waist. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Jane was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A gifted student she started as a Stableman, but she got bored and became a Ploughman. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: She is greedy.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ortegar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
