Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Garl's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A true patriot, Garl would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Garl hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: This southern woman wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a Merchant, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is an amazing painter.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Damien was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. After a long history of fighting, Damien and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and halfling compassion
