History: Dagnal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Dagnal took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor she uses now. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Gardener for the past few years.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Baern enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Baern alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Baern was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
