History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Mantus took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 8. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: A middle-aged woman, she prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts, and is pretty ugly. She has dyed her greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Bella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Banker for hire.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.
