Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Thorin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Thorin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Eberk and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Xappan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
