Zepar Sly, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears green painted combat armor at almost all times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'0" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are a pleasant silver.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zepar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Hobart Strongbones, Male Halfling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His silver hair is braided into rings. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hobart embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he's repulsed by the pc

Dalaba Nackle, Female Gnome [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a simple blue robe with green stripes complete with hood. She keeps her brown hair in a pixie cut. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Dalaba was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
