History: Born to a Dilettante, his father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Geva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.
