History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she usually wears her black robe and has her glaive always slung over her shoulder. Her black hair is unkempt and raggedy. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Description: This malnourished woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She sports a flattop fur cut. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for her, and Spear does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Spear was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Spear was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Description: He stands about 5'8" and wears dull black sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
