Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is a Blacksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Scribe profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Umpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Scribe father left him crippled. He became a Blacksmith soon after.
