Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Dain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: This late middle aged man wears bulky grey painted plate armor and is in decent physical shape. His hair is short and blonde. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Body Guard, but he got bored and became a Glassblower. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His head has been shaved. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.
Motivation: To be a Body Guard again.

History: Born in the north to a Mortician, Helen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
