Personality: Faran wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Faran lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a map maker again

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
