History: Duergath hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Duergath was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor
