Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. He has white crest. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Heskan wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heskan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Gardener, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
