History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Spear lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
