Her hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady amber eyes.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Navigator. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

He carries with him a set of crossbows, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is brown and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dûshrat fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
