History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Bertram was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Spear will drive conversation. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Spear alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Spear was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
