History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 40. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a tan vest and prefers red and tan shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her hair is black and very short. This green eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Sailor, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length black hair. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
