History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a Tanner, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Arannis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Arannis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.
