History: Gifted from a young age, Mardnab studied abroad. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Hamil was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Sethrekar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sethrekar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
