Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Nurkara was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bricklayer. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is dressed in earthy colors with a red and tan handkerchief worn on his right side. His brown hair is braided into rings. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Ulblyn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. He has a hunchback. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Chay enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Doctor mother left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to be a doctor again

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down, and is pretty ugly. She has moderate length chestnut hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Barrister, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tordrid fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and she desires power and/or immortality
