History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Pogranix was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Nella was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nella decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
