He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Thorin was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thorin decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. She has worked as a Soapmaker like her father before her.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end her boredom

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now mingles about in high society.
