History: Born in the north to a Tanner, Elama learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Avice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She became a Armorer soon after.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is unsatisfied with his job
