History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
