History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Virra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mason arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Nutae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
