Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age her father died while driving off some illithids. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in ceremonial dagger use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes are blue.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugolina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugolina. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and to protect her home

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is long and black with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Carrie never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions
