Description: An older man who dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is singed and shortened. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Thorin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Snafû was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears bulky tan painted plate armor. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. He has amber eyes.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
