History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents enrolled her in a Bard school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Baern wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a white coat. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge
