History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Ida never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by his family
