Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Darrak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Darrak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Jarsali was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
