History: Paelias was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Ghesh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ghesh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. She wears her black hair up. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Decarabia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Decarabia. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has money and likes to spend it
